Rate the U: Mark McKenzie scores well deserved high marks

McKenzie tops the poll for the second time in 2020

Mark McKenzie finished with the highest player rating in our Community Player Rating Poll for the second time in 2020 after a masterful defensive performance in the scoreless draw against New England Revolution.

Where Andre Blake was the story of the tournament in Florida, the first game back in home markets was all about Mark McKenzie and Jack Elliott forming an impenetrable wall in front of Blake. Blake was forced to make only one save on the night, a good one at that, inside 10 minutes.

McKenzie finished with a 4.74 average rating from the fans while Elliott was a close second with a 4.6 average. Blake was third with a 4.16.

McKenzie last topped the poll after the FC Dallas loss but did so with only a 3.15 average rating.

The striker trio of Kacper Przybylko, Sergo Santos and Andrew Wooten scored the lowest rating. Przybylko had a 2.79, preceded by Santos with a 2.88 and the substitute Wooten with a 2.95.
