Game Updates

90+5′- The ref whistles for the end. The camera also shows the ref explaining to a few crew players why a second penalty wasn’t called on Elliott. From the arm motions it looks like they are saying that it appears the Ramirez was holding on to Elliott’s shoulder. Either way the Union get a point on the road.

90+3′- Crew gets a shot off from inside the box, Blake makes the save. But, Elliott has his arms around Ramirez and the two fall down within the box. VAR checks it for a pk but they don’t overcall the call on the field.

90′- The fourth official shows that we will have at least 5 minutes of stoppage time here in the final minutes of the game.

72′GOAL! Columbus converts the penalty kick.

71′ – Crew’s free kick hits the wall and deflects off Elliott’s arm. He’s booked with a yellow, and Columbus is awarded a penalty. Before the kick, Bueno also receives a yellow.

66′ – Carranza is fouled, but play continues with an advantage. Uhre’s subsequent shot hits the crossbar. Instead of a red card for the foul on Carranza, Amundsen is shown a yellow.

64′ – Three consecutive corners for Columbus. The last one sparks a Union counter-attack, ending with Carranza’s offside goal. This marks the Union’s 80th offside call this season, an MLS high.

54′ – Philly’s corner is aimed at the near post, but it’s Columbus who clears the danger.
