Lehigh Valley Spirits name and logo for new indoor team announced

The Spirits and the Phantoms will be sharing the PPL Center in Allentown beginning this December with the launch of a new Major Arena Soccer League team in the Lehigh Valley.

Like their arena-mates – AHL team Lehigh Valley Phantoms – the Spirits will wear orange and black. The crest is shaped like a keytone and features a glowing-eyed hooded figure holding a soccer ball. Three stars representing Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton are at the top of the crest.

In addition to the club’s identity, the organization also announced the first members of the club’s coaching and operations staff. Giuliano Oliviero has been named Sporting Director/Technical Director, William Banahene as Assistant General Manager/Community Relations, and Jeremy Ortiz as Associate Head Coach. Ortiz was an assistant coach on the MASL2 champion Harrisburg Heat this past season.
