West Chester United is going to need a bigger trophy cabinet.

The local amateur club wrapped up its third straight United Soccer League of Pennsylvania title on Wednesday night with a 3-1 win at Phoenix SC.

The USL title is their second league title of the season after winning the Delaware River Conference regular season and postseason title in their first season in the American Premier Soccer League. They’ll now have a chance to play in that league’s final four next weekend but three more trophies are up for grabs for West Chester with the Region 1 Cup finals at Ukrainian National Sports Center this weekend.

West Chester plays in the Region 1 Amateur Cup final on Saturday night and in the Werner Fricker Cup final on Sunday. West Chester also has a chance to defend their Region 1 U-23 Tournament title in the competition being played Saturday and Sunday.

While the Predators wrapped up their third straight majors title on Wednesday, Vereinigung Erzgebirge was able to win the the Majors II title with a 2-0 win over West Chester United on Tuesday night. The VE Reserves finished the Majors II season with a 7-0-1 record, 29 goals for and just 7 goals against.
