Philadelphia Union Academy midfielder Jack de Vries is one of the 36 players currently in Florida for a United States U15 training camp.

The camp is head coach Dave van den Bergh’s second and final domestic training camp of the year. The call-up is the first for de Vries to the team in nearly a year and the first since van den Bergh took over as coach.

The team has already played U.S. Soccer Development Academy clubs Chargers SC and Weston FC since opening camp on November 5 and will play an instraquad match Friday afternoon.

De Vries is in his second season with the Union U14 team after joining from Beach FC in Virginia Beach before last season. He has a goal in seven appearances and six starts for the team this season.

He is one of 17 players on the roster with ties to MLS academies and all but one of the players is part of a Development Academy club.

New York City FC has four players on the roster, Seattle Sounders three, LA Galaxy two and San Jose Earthquakes, New York Red Bulls, Chicago Fire, Portland Timbers, Atlanta United, D.C. United, Sporting Kansas City and the Philadelphia Union each have one.
