Items stolen from the Sons of Ben storage pod

While we would rather stick to talking about tactics, swuad numbers, or who should start at what position for the Philadelphia Union, unfortunately we have to venture into police blotter territory. News broke earlier today that one of the pods at the Sons of Ben lot near Talen Energy Stadium was broken into and items were stolen.

According to Sons of Ben President Bill Gusler, the thief (or thieves) “stole one of our 7.000 watt Champion generators and our brand new speakers and wires (Harbinger 600 watt, 12 inch 2 way speakers).” The crime is believed to have happened within the last two days, and the Chester Police Department is working on the case.

According to one source with knowledge of the situation, “I think it’s safe to say it wasn’t kids that did this.”
