Alejandro Bedoya and Andre Blake of the Philadelphia Union both received call-ups today to the final 23-man Gold Cup rosters for USA and Jamaica, respectively.

Bedoya is one of 16 MLS players to make Bruce Arena’s Gold Cup roster and will be the most experienced player on the roster with 60 international appearances.

His Union teammates CJ Sapong and Chris Pontius were named to the preliminary 40-man roster, and are available as potential replacements for the six changes allowed before the quarterfinals.

Blake has been the starting goalkeeper for Jamaica since the start of 2018 World Cup qualification and has 24 caps including starts at last year’s Copa America Centenario.

Bethlehem Steel’s Cory Burke was on Jamaica’s preliminary roster and could be available for a change if head coach Theodore Whitmore needs one.

The USA are in Group B with Panama, Martinique and Nicaragua, while Jamaica is in Group C with Curacao, Mexico and El Salvador. The USA will kick off their Gold Cup campaign against Panama on July 8 in Nashville while Jamaica will do so the next day against Curacao in San Diego.
