Real Salt Lake faces off against Deportivo Saprissa, of Costa Rica, in the first leg of the two team’s match up in the CONCACAF Champions League (CCL). Salt Lake defeated fellow MLS team the Columbus Crew to move onto the next round of the CCL.

Every Philadelphia Union fan has awaited the start of MLS soccer and tonight the Los Angeles Galaxy and the Seattle Sounders ply in MLS’ first game of the year. The beginning of MLS 2011 First Kick takes place in Seattle, Washington.

But do you actually care about this game beyond the fact that it happens to be the start of the 2011 MLS season?
