The Union lost 1-0 to the Vancouver Whitecaps Saturday night. It was the expansion club’s first win since the opening match of the season.
The US played terribly against Panama so it was nice to at least see them look like they had touched a ball before against Guadeloupe, obviously Ream and Agudelo didn’t start. It made sense to put in Lichaj and he showed us just why. Putting in Wondolowski is a different thing entirely. My vote for last weeks formation is what I expect to come out this week.
The bigger the challenge, the more the Independence seem to rise to the occasion lately. Against magicJack in a Women's Professional Soccer match Saturday night at Widener University, five Independence players scored to lead the home team to a 6-0 win.

You can see that he still needs match fitness, but I think it was a good chance for him.
