Three local high school teams ranked in the top 10 nationally

Pennridge, Eastern and Conestoga all have undefeated teams and are in double digits in wins

Pennridge, Eastern and Conestoga have teams ranked in the Top 10 nationally by the United Soccer Coaches in their rankings released on Tuesday.

Pennridge girls moved up to No. 2 in the nation behind Jesuit (Portland, Ore.) this week after being ranked No. 3 a week ago. Eastern girls moved up one spot to No. 7. Conestoga boys are up two spots to No. 7.

All three teams have posted perfect records. Pennridge and Conestoga are 11-0-0 and Eastern is 10-0-0 in games through October 3.

Ocean City girls are ranked No. 19 this week. Central Dauphin and Salesianum School received votes on the boys side.
