West Chester United and United German Hungarians will meet in a rematch of the last Frank Giancroce Open Cup final this Saturday afternoon at Bryn Athyn College.

West Chester United beat Colonial SC 7-0 and UGH beat Vereinigung Erzgebirge 2-1 in Saturday’s two semifinals to set up the rematch, which is slated for a 1 p.m. kickoff.

West Chester beat UGH 3-0 in the final in December 2021 to capture their first state cup double. They went on to win the Werner Fricker Cup in Tennessee in August but came up short in qualifying for the final four of the U.S. Amateur Cup.

The Predators won the Robert M. O’Neil Amateur Cup back in December with a 4-1 win over UGH.

The two teams also met last October in U.S. Open Cup qualifying with West Chester winning 4-0.
