Game Updates

90+4′- Whistle has blown and we are full time in Chester. I am sure we will hear something shortly on the halftime change of Wagner.

90+1′- The fourth official just posted there will be at least 4 minutes of stoppage time.

88′- Play is stopped as Flach is on the ground. Looks to be cramp, as the staff is stretching him out. Also, at the same time Gazdag’s night is over as Torres replaces him.

84′- Miami’s Robinson has earned a yellow card.

79′- Union look to have a 5th goal, but the flag is up for offsides. Gazdag says no, VAR confirms the offsides and we have a goal kick to get play to resume.

77′- Inter Miami makes three changes here.

76′- Harriel makes a mistake but recovers and blocks a shot, followed by two additional ones before the ball gets cleared out of danger.

72′- Third set of changes for the Union as Uhre is replaced by Harriel.

68′- DOOP, as its another goal for the Union. This one is an own goal, as Ruiz tries to deflect a ball clear, but it hits the top of the crossbar and goes into the net.

67- Miami making a change here brining Stefanelli on for Pizarro.

58′- The Union making another change, and its a double switch. Bueno and Mcglynn are on for Martinez and Bedoya.

49′- Miami’s Taylor gets a shot off and it deflects off of Glesnes to the back of the net. Right now it is credited as an own goal, but most likely will get credited to Taylor as it was on target. Putting this here just in case you cared.

46′- Second half gets underway. The Union did make a change, as Wagner gets subbed out and Real comes on.

HALFTIME

45+4′- Hammers a goal from the top of box to put the Union up by 3. This team is getting ready to remind people of who they have been for the past three years. We also have entered halftime.

45+1′- We will see at least 5 more minutes of action here in the first half.

43′- The other Martinez on the pitch, Miami’s version, makes a late run after a hesitation and he can’t get on the end of a ball that would have cut the lead in half.

39′- Make it 2-nil. Miami caught out of position, deflects the initial cross into the box. Uhre taps it to an unmarked Carranza, who made a late run, and he sends the ball into the back of the net.

37′- Stretcher crew is on the pitch and are waiting for word from the athletic staff. But Negri is up and slowly walking off the field with the staff. Miami brings on Robinson to replace Negri.

33′- Play is stopped as the training staff is out looking at Negri. Who goes down after a collision with Carranza. While he’s been waiting for the staff he was rolling all around the pitch and grabbing above his knee.

24′ – Martinez is shown a yellow card for a ‘foul’. Miami now has a free kick from above the box. It was played on the ground and Bendik easily grabs the ball.

15′- Uhre is the first player to enter the refs book with a yellow card.

13′- The first corner of the night for the Union. Wagner stands over the ball from the far flag. Service is sent to the top of the 6-yard box and it finds the top of Glesnes’ head, and he is able to flick it into the back of the net. Union get on the board first.

11′- Martinez picks up the ball in the attacking half, tried to get it over to Uhre but it was blocked. Best chance for either side so far.

10′-  The referee, Malik Badawi, is really letting the sides play tonight. A few times the whistle could have blown, he let the play continue.

1′ – We are underway in Chester. The boys are in the dark blues and are defending The River End, here in the first half.
