Jose Martinez will be back available for selection tomorrow after leaving Saturday’s game early in the first half, head coach Jim Curtin said Tuesday.

“He was kind of just proactive, made that good long run, set up the second goal, and then you know, just didn’t feel quite right,” Curtin said. “But he hasn’t had any pain since then. We got tests done and everything’s positive there. So yeah, we’ve dodged a bullet for sure.”

Martinez was replaced in the 26th minute by Leon Flach with the score 2-0.

Julian Carranza returned to the lineup after missing the Leagues Cup semifinal and third place game with a hamstring issue and put in what Curtin characterized as a “typical Julian performance” recording an assist and drawing a penalty. He was subbed out in the 64th minute.

“He had no issues with the injury,” Curtin said.

Though the team is healthy, Curtin said to expect some changes to the lineup with a midweek road game in Canada and Red Bull back at home Sunday night.
