Bruce Arena resigns from Revolution after MLS investigation confirms ‘certain’ allegations
Arena had been under investigation for alleged “inappropriate and insensitive remarks” since Aug. 1. Major League Soccer announced Saturday that “certain” allegations were confirmed and that Arena would have to submit a petition to the commissioner if he should pursue future employment within the league.
Efrain Alvarez leaves LA Galaxy and signs for Club Tijuana
Efrain Alvarez, a young Mexican talent, started his career in the LA Galaxy Academy, progressing through the ranks to the first team. He was considered one of the promising talents in the league and Mexican soccer in general. During his time in the top division, he played a total of 104 games, scoring 8 goals and providing 16 assists to his teammates.
Colorado Rapids add Luis Diaz off waivers
The 24-year-old comes to Colorado with plenty of Major League Soccer experience, spending the previous five seasons with the Columbus Crew. He recorded six goals and added 14 assists in 82 appearances with Columbus. Diaz, known primarily for his pace, has also represented Costa Rica eight times in international play.

The goals came early and late. Tim Weah put the U.S. in front in the fourth minute before substitute Ricardo Pepi and AC Milan star Christian Pulisic, from the penalty spot, scored in second-half stoppage time to ensure the win.
