FC Cincinnati’s Luciano Acosta wins the 2023 Landon Donovan MVP Award
On Monday, MLS announced that Acosta received the 2023 Landon Donovan Most Valuable Player Award. Acosta led the voting amongst the players, media and clubs, garnering 60.37 percent of the overall vote. Acosta took the plurality of the vote over finalists Dénis Bouanga from LAFC and Atlanta United’s Thiago Almada.

Sounders season grinds to a halt against LAFC
The Sounders fell 1-0 to LAFC at Lumen Field in the Western Conference Semifinals, as a Denis Bouanga goal spelled the end of the season for Seattle.

Sporting KC’s Season Ends in Houston
Six minutes before half time, the Dynamo opened the scoring as Franco Escobar beat Dany Rosero to a Hector Herrera corner kick, beating Melia and putting Houston up 1-0.

USMNT to play Slovenia in January Camp friendly
It will be the first time the USMNT have played at the 8,300-seat home of San Antonio FC, and it’s the first time they have played in San Antonio since April 2015. Then, Jordan Morris and Juan Agudelo helped the USMNT beat Mexico 2-0 at the Alamodome.
