Another local club is rebranding ahead of the fall season.

Southern Chester County Soccer Association will be known as FC Chesco beginning with the 2024-2025 season.

“First and foremost, FC CHESCO speaks to the fact that our club’s players no longer only come from the Southern Chester County area,” a news release about the change states. “Players join us from throughout the entire Chester and Delaware County Areas, plus our neighboring states of Delaware and Maryland. In addition, what was started as a community based, volunteer run organization, has now been revamped and strengthened from the ground up.”

FC Chesco will play under the Elite Develeopment Program/US Youth Soccer National League Conferences while also participating in the Atlantic Premier League and the Eastern PA Youth Soccer State Cup.
