Fresh off their starring performances at the Generation adidas Cup in Florida, Philadelphia Union U-17 teammates Diego Rocio and Jamir Johnson received call-ups for their respective youth national teams.

Rocio was called up by the Mexico U-18 team. The San Diego native is coming off an MVP performance in leading the Union U-17 team to their second straight GA Cup title. He was also on the GA Cup Best XI for the U-17 age group.

Johnson was called up to the United States U-16 team training camp in Florida. Johnson had three goals for the Union U-17s in Florida, including the lone goal in a 1-0 win over South Korean team Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors.
