Houston in July, Messi in May and a first meeting with a team that is always screaming the City part of its name is on tap for the Philadelphia Union in 2025.

The Union will visit Orlando to open the season on February 22 at Inter & Co Stadium. A week later they’ll return to Chester to host FC Cincinnati 32 games earlier in the schedule than they did in 2024.

A visit to Foxborough – where it’s typically just a smidge above freezing in early March – awaits the following week before Nashville and St. Louis City come to town in a Sunday/Saturday set. The meeting with St. Louis will be the first ever official meeting between the two sides. San Diego FC, the new team in the league, is not on the Union’s schedule.

The game against Nashville SC on March 16 is the lone game slated for national broadcast on FOX. Inter Miami and Lionel Messi are scheduled to come to town Memorial Day Weekend on Saturday, May 24. Though a venue change has not been announced, that might just be the weekend to have a game at Lincoln Financial Field.

Western Conference road trips include FC Dallas on May 31, Houston Dynamo on July 19 and Vancouver Whitecaps on September 13. Defending MLS Cup champions LA Galaxy come to town for a midweek match May 14 and Colorado Rapids visit on July 26 to round out the three Western Conference home opponents.

Decision Day will be on October 18 at Charlotte FC.

By far the most congested month will be May when the Union are scheduled to play seven games. Four of those games are road games at Atlanta United, CF Montreal, Toronto (on a Wednesday) and FC Dallas.
