Philadelphia Union to play Czech club SK Slavia Praha in Spain

The Philadelphia Union will be heading to Spain for part of their 2025 preseason and we now know at least one of their opponents for the overseas trip.

SK Slavia Praha posted a schedule of upcoming games that lists the Philadelphia Union as their opponent on January 19.

The top flight Czech First League team currently leads the league with 50 points through their first 19 games of the season. They finished second in the league last season behind fellow Prague rival Sparta Praha. The Czech First League season resumes in early February. SK Slavia also has Europa League fixtures for January 23 and 30.

SK Slavia will face Polish club Raków Częstochowa in their first match of 2025 four days before facing off against the Philadelphia Union.
