Published

on

Five Philadelphia Soccer 6 schools and Rider University will contest the men’s Philly Soccer 6 Cup during their spring exhibition seasons this year.

Rider takes the place of Penn in the competition, which will feature two groups of three competing for a shot at the final on April 12. All six teams will play two group games and in either the final or a consolation game on April 12.

La Salle, Rider and Temple are in the North Pod while Villanova, Drexel and Saint Joseph’s are in the South Pod.

The women’s programs typically hold a one-day event every spring and the men’s programs have played in a one-day event in the past.

A full schedule has not been released yet. The final location has also not been announced.
