High Point University will honor the memory of former Philadelphia Union and High Point goalkeeper Holden Trent with the Holden Trent Community Cup on Feb. 19.

The match against MLS Next Pro club Carolina Core will benefit the Goal 13 Foundation.

Trent, a Greensboro native, died unexpectedly in October 2024. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Union in the 2023 MLS SuperDraft and made six appearances for Philadelphia Union II while battling injuries over his two seasons in Chester.
