It’s Philadelphia Union game day!

The boys in blue are down in Orlando to take on an Orlando team that was ever so close to winning the Eastern Conference crown last year and the reason New York Red Bulls got to play the part of the Washington Generals in last year’s MLS Cup final.

The Mane Land‘s managing editor Michael Citro fills us in on a winless preseason, key injuries and the expectations around Oscar Pareja’s squad. Pareja is entering his seventh season as head coach and his teams aren’t known for fast starts. In fact, they are better known for opening day draws. But it’s still freezing here in Pennsylvania so the schedulers really couldn’t have picked a better time to schedule this game.
