Four Philadelphia Union players named to preliminary Gold Cup rosters

Philadelphia Union teammates Danley Jean Jacques (Haiti), Andre Blake (Jamaica), Quinn Sullivan (USA) and Nathan Harriel (USA) have all been named on preliminary rosters for the upcoming Concacaf Gold Cup.

The 60-man preliminary rosters will be trimmed down to 23-26 players in early June.

The 18th edition of the Confederation’s tournament for men’s senior national teams will take place from June 14 to July 6, across 14 stadiums and 11 metropolitan areas in the United States and Canada.

In addition to the four current Philadelphia Union players, a number of former Union players and others with ties to the Philadelphia area were included in the preliminary rosters.

That includes Brenden Aaronson, Paxten Aaronson, George Campbell, Matthew Freese, Jack McGlynn, Mark McKenzie, Christian Pulisic, Zack Steffen, Auston Trusty and Brian White for the U.S., Duke Lacroix, Shanyder Borgelin, Fafa Picault Jamaica: Jahmali Waite, Damion Lowe, Cory Burke, Alvas Powell and Khori Bennett for Haiti and Tomas Romero for El Salvador.
