Philadelphia Union to face NYCFC in conference semifinal

Big games against NYCFC at Subaru Park are becoming a bit of a fall-time habit.

The Philadelphia Union will face NYCFC in a one-game Eastern Conference semifinal after the upcoming international break (November 10-18). Date and time to be announced. NYCFC beat Charlotte 3-1 in game three of their playoff series on Friday night to advance.

The Union beat NYCFC in the conference final in 2022 at home to advance to the MLS Cup final for the first time in club history. They lost to NYCFC at home with a roster depleted by positive Covid-19 tests in the 2021 conference final. NYC got the better of them in a 3-1 playoff win in 2018 at Yankee Stadium.
