Swarthmore, Rowan, Misericordia women, Scranton men earn at large bids in NCAA Division III tournaments

Swarthmore, Misericordia and Rowan women along with the men’s team from Scranton earned at-large bids to the NCAA Division III tournaments, joining eight other teams from the greater Philadelphia region that qualified by winning their conference tournaments.

Dickinson and Scranton men along with Messiah women will host the first and second rounds of their tournaments.

Messiah, Scranton, Penn State Harrisburg and Rowan have teams in both the men’s and women’s field of 64 teams. The games kick off on Friday and continue through Saturday with the second round being contested on Sunday.

Scranton vs Carnegie Mellon, Nov. 15, 1:30 p.m. in Lexington, Va.
Penn State Harrisburg at Christopher Newport, Nov. 15, 4:30 p.m.
Rowan vs Misericordia, Nov. 15, 7 p.m. in Newport News, Va.
Swarthmore vs Bridgewater College, Nov. 15, 8 p.m. in Cleveland, Ohio
