A pair of state champions from last fall are aiming to repeat the feat this afternoon in Dover, Del. in the DIAA Division I and Division II state boys soccer finals today.

Sussex Academy is aiming for their third straight title in the Division II final at noon against a traditional power in boys soccer in Saint Mark’s. The Spartans have 11 state titles to their name but last won a title in 2001 when there was only one division.

Caesar Rodney is looking for their third title after denying Salesianum a fourth straight title last November. The Sallies have been state champions 10 times since 2013 and have 22 titles to their name.

Sussex Academy and Saint Mark’s are slated to kick off at noon followed by Caesar Rodney and Salesianum at 3 p.m.

Both matches will be streamed live on the NFHS Network.
