How to Watch: West Chester United vs Loudoun United
West Chester United is back in the U.S. Open Cup with a chance at a rematch against Loudoun United tonight at YSC Sports in King of Prussia.
The Predators came up short in their bid for a cupset against the USL Championship side in a 3-2 loss last March on the YSC turf. They lost their previous two first round matches at YSC Sports against Maryland Bobcats and Ocean City Nor’easters.
West Chester is the lone team from the area in the 2026 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. They qualified automatically by winning the USASA National Amateur Cup for the first time in club history and the first time for a local team since Philadelphia Inter went back-to-back in 1973-1974. The Philadelphia Union won’t be joining the competition this year when MLS teams enter because they qualified for both the Concacaf Champions Cup and the Leagues Cup.
Several West Chester players from last year’s near cupset and the National Amateur Cup run have moved onto the next level. Jack Jasinksi is with San Jose Earthquakes, Kenneth Roby is with Bourges B in France, Giuliano Whitchurch is with LAFC 2 and Dylan Lacy is with CT United FC.
The match kicks off at 7:30 p.m. and will be streamed live on YouTube.
