Lehigh and defending champions Saint Joseph’s are leading their groups heading into the final slate of group games before the Philly Spring Cup finals at WSFS Bank Sportsplex in Chester.

The second annual men’s soccer competition welcomed both Lehigh and Lafayette to the field this season and Lehigh so far is flying high with wins over Villanova and La Salle to top the Bill Wilkinson bracket with six points. They’ll host Temple this Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m. needing only a point to clinch a spot in the final on April 18.

Saint Joseph’s is even on points with Rider but has two games still to play in the Don Dijulia Bracket. The Hawks take on Drexel on Friday night and host Lafayette on April 15. Rider completes their group play at home against Lafayette this Saturday while Villanova hosts La Salle.

The first and third place games will be played at 4:30 p.m. at WSFS Bank Sportsplex on April 18, preceded by the 5th and 7th place games at 2.

Saint Joseph’s beat La Salle in penalties last April to win the first Philly Spring Cup trophy.
