Villanova women score nine in Lehigh rout

Villanova’s attack was firing on all cylinders at Lehigh on Sunday with the Wildcats connecting for nine goals to grab their first win of the 2026 campaign.

Morgan Kotch got the attack going early with the team’s first goal of the season in the fourth minute and quickly doubled the lead a little over a minute later. Gabby Koluch made it 3-0 inside 10 minutes with a penalty kick in the 9th minute and six other Wildcats found the back of the net on the day. Seven different players recorded assists on the day.

The nine goals were the most scored by the program since they beat St. Peter’s 11-0 in September 2007.

Goalkeeper Hannah Dickinson made one save to record her second straight clean sheet of the season after a scoreless draw at Syracuse and the 16th of her career.

Villanova has 10 days off before traveling to Columbia on August 27, three days ahead of their home opener.
