Central Bucks East’s domination of the local girls soccer has barely skipped a beat this season after they cruised to the Class 4A state championship last November.

Save for a scoreless draw against Henderson, the season is going as planned with the Patriots outscoring opponents 20-2. Their national recognition has also continued with the team rising to No. 3 in the latest rankings released by United Soccer Coaches.

Paul VI girls are also in the rankings, checking in at No. 13 and Downingtown East received votes in the latest poll.

On the boys side, Conestoga is back at No. 25 (and No. 4) in the latest rankings despite being ranked just 20th in the District 1 standings after a 3-0 start. Salesianum is ranked nationally at No. 14 after a 2-0-0 start. Harrisburg school Central Dauphin received votes and Seneca Valley at No. 9 continues to be the team from the WPIAL most likely to be a contender for the Class 4A crown come November.

Episcopal Academy boys are ranked 10th in the regional rankings, Pennsbury is No. 12 and Father Judge is No. 14. Downingtown East and Downingtown West girls are ranked 5th and 8th in the regional rankings while Pennridge and Shawnee check in at No. 13 and No. 14. Pennridge visits Region III No. 1 CB East on Wednesday.
