After a more than bizarre Tuesday morning which we talked about here, the Philadelphia Union have decided to officially cut ties with former analyst Peter Pappas.

Tim McDermott was once again the representative from the club that broke the news. From the Union's press release:

What this means for both parties is up in the air at this point. Short term the club will probably find a replacement from within, safe bet being Bethlehem Steel FC play-by-play guy Dave Leno. Long term who knows, apparently the club wasn’t terribly interested in waiting until Pappas’ October court date to make their decision on the matter.

When the 25th of October does roll around, we will have the verdict. For all Union news, rumors and analysis, be sure to stick around Brotherly Game.
