Mo Conde scored twice and John Schroeder found the back of the net for the third time in two games to lead FC Florida to a second straight win in the U19 boys national championships in Frisco, Texas Wednesday morning.

The 4-2 win over Smithtown Kickers SC Arsenal secured the Palm Beach, Florida-based club a place in the final against defending champions FC Golden State. FC Golden State, which beat Chicago Celtic 5-3 and FC Florida have both won their first two games to clinch berths to the final.

New York club Smithtown took an early lead seconds into the game on a Nkosi Burgess goal, but Conde put things on level terms just before halftime. Nico Bellarde put Florida up in the 59th minute and Schroeder, a sophomore at the University of Delaware, made it 3-1 in the 66th minute.

Conde, a redshirt freshman at the University of Mobile, made it 4-1 six minutes later and Matthew McDonnell pulled a goal back in the 84th minute to round out the scoring.

Conde, Schroeder and FC Florida left back Zach Perez were teammates on the Philadelphia Union Academy U18 team in 2014-15.
