How to watch: Jamaica vs. Haiti

Both teams play for pride in their final qualification 2018 World Cup Qualification matches.

Jamaica and Haiti have already been eliminated from the 2018 World Cup Qualifying, so this match will result in essentially a friendly between the two sides. With Jamaica’s recent woes and the aging starting lineup preferred by Winfried Schäfer, it will be interesting to see if some of the older players are replaced with younger options to give them a fair look against a decent CONCACAF opponent.

Haiti manager Patrice Neveu will probably elect to start the same lineup used against Costa Rica last week. Haiti is a young, unproven side with many players playing professionally in Haiti, with only a few playing in NASL in the US and none in MLS. The most recognizable name is perhaps captain and goalkeeper Johnny Placide, who plays with Reims in Ligue 1. Unlike Jamaica, Haiti has only one player 30 years old or older – midfielder Max Hilaire holds that distinction.
