YSC Sports will have a full slate of games on Saturday as the Philadelphia Union Academy hosts PA Classics for a home opener for all five teams.

The day will get underway at 10 a.m. with the U14 game, followed by the U13s at noon, U12 games inside at 12:30 and 2 p.m., the U16 game at 2 p.m., the U18s at 4 p.m. and the season opener for the U15s at 6 p.m.

U18s
The U18 team is coming off an opening week scoreless draw to D.C. United while three of their most dangerous offensive weapons – Justin McMaster, Anthony Fontana and Josue Monge – were away with Bethlehem Steel FC.

Steel FC is on the road Saturday at Charleston Battery so all three – along with defender Matt Real may not be available for selection again for the U18 game. Despite not being able to find the back of the net, the U18s did hold D.C. United scoreless and 15-year-old goalkeeper Kristopher Shakes picked up the clean sheet in his U18 debut.

PA Classics topped PDA 3-1 in their season opener last week. Former Union U16 midfielder Kurtis Orrson opened his scoring account for his new team just 10 minutes in while Isaac Hollinger bagged a brace.

U16s
The U16 team fell 3-2 to D.C. United in their opener last week with goals scored by Daniel Bloyou and Liam O’Brien.

They’ll face a PA Classics team coming off a 1-1 draw with PDA. Kyle May scored the lone goal for the Manheim-based club in the match.

Defensive midfielder Marco Bla will be unavailable for selection. He’s in camp with the U.S. U16 team in northern California.

U15s
The U15 team opens its season in the Northeast Pre-Academy League.

The roster features 12 players who were on the U14 team a season ago and newcomer Sean Smolyn, a defender who joined the team from Continental FC Delco.

The team includes Obafemi Awodesus, Kenyatta Collins Jr., AJ Cousins, Brendan Hasson, Donovan Wu, Liam Cummings, Eoin Gawronski, Michael McKeown, Matthew Myers, Maxwell Owens, Anteck Sankiel and Cole Turner.

U14s
The U14 team will want to rebound after a tough 5-0 opening weekend loss to D.C. United.

PA Classics beat PDA 1-0 last week on a 46th minute goal by Aiden Weaver.

U13s
The U13s topped D.C. United 4-0 behind a Jack Roberto hat trick and a Micah Cain goal in their season opener last week.

PA Classics fell 4-0 to PDA in their first game.

U12s
The U12 team went 3-1 in games against Cedar Stars Academy and PDA last week. They outscored opponents 24-6 with Marcelo Mazzola leading the way with five goals.
