Rosenberry ranks sixth in MLS “24 Under 24”
The Union fullback keeps racking up accolades
Over the last few days, mlssoccer.com has started to release a list of the 24 best players aged 24 and under in the league. Keegan Rosenberry, the favorite (around here at least) for Rookie of the Year was really an “if, not when” scenario with a lot of us at Brotherly Game figuring he'd only be topped by the Seattle Sounders’ Jordan Morris. Today he was announced at the number six spot, which puts him between Wil Trapp and a player to be named tomorrow.
The Philadelphia Union right back has been worth every bit of anxiety that we experienced when the club drafted him at the third spot in the 2016 SuperDraft. Rosenberry has been an absolute stud, starting the MLS All Star Game against Arsenal and making countless MLS Team of the Week rosters. Rosenberry’s future is bright, with the Union posed to make the playoffs and Rosenberry in conversations for MLS Rookie of the Year and the United States Men’s National Team.
