Local high school teams in the USA TODAY / NSCAA Super 25 Fall High School Rankings were on the rise this week, on both the boys’ and girls’ side.

On the boys’ side, last week’s Rockhurst (12-1-0) of Kansas City, Missouri dropped like a rock all the way to ninth place. The new number one is Cleveland, Ohio’s St. Ignatius (8-0-1), moving up from the second place spot. The highest ranked local team is still Wilmington, Delaware’s Salesianum School (4-1-0), who moved up one place to fifth. The only other ranked local team is Berwyn, Pennsylvania’s Conestoga (9-0-0), who rose ten spots to fifteenth. Hummelstown, Pennsylvania’s Lower Dauphin again received votes, but not enough to crack the top 25.

On the girls’ side, the top team is still Kaysville, Utah’s Davis (12-0-0). The highest ranked local team is Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania’s Pennsbury (6-0-0), who (much like Sallies on the boys’ side) rose one spot to seventh overall. The only other ranked team is Colts Neck, New Jersey’s Colts Neck (3-0-1), who dropped two slots to twenty-second overall.
