The Philadelphia Union Academy and Continental FC Delco will renew their local rivalry this weekend with a full slate of games slated for Saturday at YSC Sports and Sunday at the Training Fields outside Talen Energy Stadium.

The U18 and U16 teams are slated to play a doubleheader Sunday in Chester beginning at noon.

Continental FC Delco’s U18 team will be seeking their first win of the season and their first ever over their local rivals, which have a record of 3-0-3 since joining the U.S. Soccer Development Academy for the 2013-14 season.

CFCD have a loss and two draws to start the season and have been outscored by opponents 5-3. Kexxer Camarco (Rehobeth Beach, Del.), Alexander Hajj (Douglassville, Pa.) and Dontrim Namani (West Chester, Pa.) have scored their goals this season.

Their team features former Union Academy players Namani, Juan Infante (Willow Grove, Pa.), and Ryan Trapp (Yardley, Pa.). Maxwell Graham (Paoli, Pa.), the younger brother of Union forward Tiger Graham, is another familiar face.

On the other side, the Union U18s have eight former CFCD players on their roster in Omar Ayala (Norristown, Pa.), Freeman Dwamena (Philadelphia, Pa.), Tiger Graham, Isaiah Holquist (Bala Cynwyd, Pa.), Dawson McCartney (Voorhees, N.J.), Josue Monge (Philadelphia, Pa.), Matthew Real (Upper Darby, Pa.) and Maximilien Sakiewicz (Glen Mills, Pa.).

U16s

Continental FC Delco’s U16 team is unbeaten through three games with wins over Baltimore Armour and Bethesda SC and a draw against PA Classics.

Jeremy Rafanello (Delran, N.J.) leads the team in scoring with four goals while Matthew Harridan (Vineland, N.J.) and Joseph Martini (Chester Springs, Pa.) have also chipped in a goal a piece.

Like the U18 team, the U16s have never won in the fixture with the Union owning a 5-0-1 record.

Saturday’s games

The U15 Northeast Pre-Academy League teams play at 11 a.m, the U14s at 1 p.m., the U13s at 3 p.m. and the U12s indoors at 12:30 and 2 p.m. at YSC Sports near King of Prussia.
