Matthew Real scored in the 12th minute and Tiger Graham had a brace to lead the Philadelphia Union U18s to a win over Players Development Academy on Saturday.

In their first meeting since the quarterfinal of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy playoffs back in July that PDA won 3-1, goalkeeper Jahmali Waite and the Union defense kept a clean sheet behind a five-goal day for the offense.

Graham’s two goals give him seven for the season and six in his last two games. Real’s game-winning goal in the 12th minute was his first of the season and Justin McMaster added his first of the year in the 33rd minute. Alexander Soto finished up the scoring with his second of the year in the 81st minute.

Defender Rayshaun McGann made his first start of the season after being away on international duty and he was joined on the back line by Mark McKenzie, Real and Isaiah Holquist.

U16s

Chad Letts scored an equalizer with a minute left to give the Union U16s a road point against PDA.

Zach Riviere put PDA up 1-0 with a goal in the 39th minute. The draw was the second of the season for the U16s, which have gone 3-0-2 since an opening weekend loss to D.C. United.

U14s

The U14s picked up their second straight clean sheet in a 4-0 win over PDA to even their season record at 3-3-0.

Julian Anderson scored his first two goals of the season in a five-minute span in the first half and Aboubacar Camara added a brace. Camara leads the team with seven goals, five of which he’s scored in the last two games.

U13s

The U13s conceded in the 15th minute but responded with three second half goals to pick up the 3-1 win over PDA.

Down 1-0 at halftime of a 70-minute match, Selmir Miscic and Marco Silva quickly gave the visitors the leads with goals in a one-minute span and Miscic, who leads the team with seven goals, added an insurance goal with a minute left.

Silva’s game-winner was his second of the season after he scored the go-ahead goal against Continental FC Delco in the team’s last game.

U12s

The U12s swept a two-game set with PDA with 3-1 and 2-0 score lines on Saturday.

Timothy Madden had a brace and Andrew Johnson added a goal in the first game while Nelson Pierre found the back of the net for the 11th time this season and Marcello Mazzola added a goal in the second game.
