Bethlehem Steel FC announce new Director of Business

Bethlehem Steel FC announced the promotion of Scott Evans to Director of Business Operations earlier today. Evans will be taking over the position from Rich Searls after April 1st, which will probably serve as a chance for Rich to show Scott the ropes of the soccer world. Rich, who did a great job promoting and growing the club since its announcement in December of 2015, will be taking on other ventures outside of the club, and we wish him the best of luck.

Scott Evans actually joined the club in October as Director of Ticket Sales, joining Bethlehem from the Philadelphia Phillies AAA affiliate the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs. Graduating from the University of Indiana with a degree in kinesology, sports management and marketing. Scott took a ticket sales role with the Iron Pigs and made his way up their ladder before becoming their Director of Ticket sales in 2013, which was a role he held until his departure. He’s been living in the Valley for a decade and was recently married.
