A pair of MLS Academy opponents and another from Liga MX await the Philadelphia Union Academy U16 team at the Generation adidas Cup finals in Frisco, Texas.

The Union will be competing in Group B of the Premier Division bracket after missing out on the Championship Division with a 2-2-2 record in qualifying.

They open play against New England Revolution, which they beat in regional qualifying back in October, on April 7, at 10 a.m., play Monterrey on April 9, at 1 p.m. and finish group play against Chicago Fire on April 11, at 12:15 p.m. The group winner will advance to the semifinals.
