Bethlehem Steel FC vs Georgetown University highlights

My top photos from the friendly against Georgetown on Sunday

Occasionally I have a really good idea. When I asked resident photo guy and friend of the program Trey Madara to come down to the Union Practice Fields on Sunday to shoot the Bethlehem Steel FC match for me, I made a pretty good decision. Below are some of my personal favorites from his super expansive (and really well done) album from the friendly Sunday. Definitely view the rest of here when you get a minute.

Again, the Steel were dominant this match against a respectable Georgetown side. The center of the midfield look to have a bit of a mean streak to them which should make trying to play through them a lost cause for the opposition. James Chambers, Bolu Akinyode and Derrick Jones are strong and can move north to south with relative ease making the Steel attack feel like a five or six man mugging.

With the recent performances by Steel FC the Eastern conference in the USL might want to take this hungry group of talented players a bit more seriously than the run of the mill expansion franchise.
