Philadelphia Union fans will get their first glimpse of the team’s mascot at an event on Monday at the Philadelphia Zoo.

Captain Alejandro Bedoya will be on hand for the hatching of the egg the team has been teasing on social media on the zoo’s Impala Lawn at 2 p.m. The Phillie Phanatic will also be there.

The Union launched a design process back in April, soliciting ideas from local children to help them design the team’s first mascot.

Complimentary tickets are available by registering on the Union’s website.
