And There Was One: Keon Daniel And Chris Agorsor Identified As Philadelphia Union Trialists

Another two players on trial with the Philadelphia Union have been identified.

Philly Soccer Page and Zolo Nation combined to identify that the diminutive, unknown midfielder (who is described by Zolo Nation’s James Doyle as being around Roger Torres‘ height) as former Gatorade National Player of the Year (2008) and University of Virgina midfielder/striker Chris Agorsor. A poster on a PSP article identified the midfielder as Agorsor and Doyle put together a great collage of pictures of Agorsor against the unknown trialist.

The midfielder with dreads is all but Keon Daniel, a sporting hero in his native Trinadad and Tobago. PSP had a poster comment with a side-by-side picture comparison of the player in camp and during his time with another team. If it isn't him then Daniel has a body double. But as PSPTim pointed out here on our site, why hasn't the T&T media picked up on Daniel like it did fellow trialist Thorne Holder? Daniel is arguably one of the most known sports athletes in the small country after leading the nation in goals during its World Cup Qualifying campaign. Something to ponder.

That leaves only a very tall defender left to identify. Most notable is that he is not from any of the local collegiate rosters, nor any of the Union affiliated PDL squads, per Andy Dillion and PSPTim over at PSP.

And then there was one.
