Temple men's soccer have a new face on the sidelines in new assistant coach James Gedhill.

The Huddersfield, England native joins David MacWilliams coaching staff after coaching women's soccer for four seasons at Holmes Community College in Mississippi.

"He's got a great personality that relates and interacts with players very well," MacWilliams said in a news release. "It was evident when he first met the team, I saw everyone walk away with a great feeling and I believe he's going to do great for us."

Gledhill was a two-time All-American at NAIA University of Mobile, where he helped lead the Rams to a national title in 2002, and played one season with the Wilmington Hammerheads in 2005. He played for one season at Division 1 Fairfield, setting a school record for goals scored in a season.

Prior to coaching at Holmes, Gledhill was an assistant on the men's team at Mississippi College for three seasons.
