If you are looking for some entertainment tonight, you may want to head to the Philadelphia Union’s social accounts. The Union are hosting an event called “Heroes and All-Stars.” The Union’s FIFA 20 roster for tonight’s event will feature the likeness of front-line workers who are keeping the Philadelphia region safe.

The 18-person roster sprawls from medical workers to law enforcement. The team website says each person of the roster was nominated by someone who felt the individual went above and beyond to keep the community safe.

On Tuesday the Union announced its Heroes Roster, which looks like the following:

GOALKEEPERS: Todd Harris (Physical Therapist); Christopher Schad (Paramedic)

DEFENDERS: Amy Burhannah (Cardiologist); Patricia LaPorta (Critical Care Nurse and Educator); Marilou Rulloda (Intensive Care Nurse); Jenna Schultz (Nurse); Amanda Salata (Critical Care Nurse)

MIDFIELDERS: Tom Beal (Intensive Care Nurse); Ryan Elles (Registered Nurse); Heidi Huizenga (Nurse); Kevin Manning (Law Enforcement); Sarah Orfanes (Pulmonologist); Kevin Overbeck (Doctor of Geriatrics); Kathleen Peng (Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse); Karla Schuler (Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse)

FORWARDS: Peter Edde (Family Physician); Jason Ellis (EMT First Responder); Ali Sweeterman (Physical Therapist)

The frontline roster will take on the 2019 MLS All-star squad, which includes Wayne Rooney, Carlos Vela and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. You can watch the stream tonight at 7 p.m. on the Union’s YouTube, Facebook page or website.

Wednesday’s event is part of the Union Foundation’s Fight for Philly initiative. The initiative will provide thousands of personal protective equipment and meals for frontline workers and the vulnerable populations in the Philadelphia region.
