OTD 2018: Union legend Sebastien Le Toux announces retirement
Only eight players have accumulated 50 goals and 50 assists for the same MLS franchise. Sebastien Le Toux is one of them, and he did it over two stints with Philadelphia Union. On Tuesday, May 8th, 2018, the French attacker signed a one day contract and retired as a member of the club and community where he is, and will remain, a legend.

MLS commissioner Don Garber ‘cautiously optimistic’ about league’s return
MLS has been shut down since March 12, but began allowing players to resume individual outdoor workouts at team training facilities on May 6. Several teams began workouts on Wednesday with more to follow in the coming days.

FOX Sports to televise Bundesliga return across FS1, FS2 and FOX Soccer Plus
Instead of trying to leverage its over-the-air FOX broadcast network to feature games, FOX Sports is picking up right where it left off. The sports network will broadcast the Bundesliga games from May 16 through May 18 across FS1, FS2 and FOX Soccer Plus.

Teams allowed 5 substitutes as FIFA proposal accepted by IFAB
Football’s lawmakers have announced clubs will be allowed five substitutes per match in competitions which start and finish before the end of 2020, as the latest step to get the sport up and running during the coronavirus crisis.
