The Philadelphia Lone Star U23s will host their home opener for their UPSL campaign on Saturday night at YSC Sports after rallying to get a result on the road against New Jersey FC.

Down a pair of goals on the road, the Stars rallied after the hosts went down to 10 men with a clumsy tackle in the 75th minute. Moments later, Lansana Doumbouya was played into the box and was taken down by the goalkeeper for a penalty. Doumbouya converted from the spot in the 79th minute to cut the lead in half.

Bill Wilson found an equalizer in the third minute of stoppage time when he got behind the defense on a long recycled ball and fired it home to give Lone Star a share of the spoils in a 2-2 draw in Elizabeth, N.J. A replay and highlights of the match are available on MyCujoo.

Philly Lone Star will face Allentown United in their home opener Saturday at 6 p.m. at YSC Sports. A limited number of tickets will be available for $5. The game will be streamed on MyCujoo.
