For the second time this season, Sergio Santos finished with the highest rating in our Community Player Ratings poll but unlike when he helped spark a blowout against Sporting Kansas City in the MLS is Back Tournament, it followed a loss.

Santos scored the lone goal of the game in the 5th minute in what ended up being a disappointing 2-1 loss to Toronto FC in Connecticut.

The Brazilian striker had a 3.9 average. Andrew Wooten continued to show poorly in the poll with another last place finish with a 2.45 average rating. Head coach Jim Curtin was second from the bottom with a 2.74 average.

Jakob Glesnes finished second with 3.65 average rating. It’s the third time in 2020 that no one on the team scored a 4 or higher average rating. The other two times came after the season opening loss to FC Dallas and the more recent loss to Columbus Crew, the Union’s only other regular season losses.
