Swansea City hopes to sign Jordan Morris on loan
The Telegraph story says the deal is nearly completed and that Morris could join Swansea as soon as next week. Morris is currently in training camp with the United States national team. There were no details on terms of the deal beyond it being a six-month loan. An updated version of the story claims Bayer Leverkusen and Wolfsburg of the Bundesliga and Serie A’s Fiorentina were also interested in Morris.
LA Galaxy re-sign goalkeeper Jonathan Klinsmann
Klinsmann, 23, joined the Galaxy in Aug. 2020 after a brief sojourn in Switzerland with St. Gallen. The Southern California native, son of former Germany international and Germany and U.S. Men’s National Team head coach Jurgen Klinsmann, began his professional career at Hertha Berlin but ultimately couldn’t break through in Europe to get regular minutes.
Rumor: San Jose Earthquakes to sign Eduardo ‘Chofis’ Lopez?
The 26-year-old is an attacking midfielder who has spent his entire professional career to date with Chivas de Guadalajara, where he of course worked with Earthquakes head coach Matias Almeyda from 2015-18, the duo winning a Liga MX title, Copa MX and the Concacaf Champions League.
Crew’s Chris Cadden completes transfer to Hibernian FC
The defender is on his way to Scottish Premier League side Hibernian Football Club. News of this move was previously reported by Edinburgh Sport reporter Moira Gordon but now is complete. As part of the transfer, the Black & Gold will retain a percentage of any future transfer fee Hibernian receives for Cadden.
FC Dallas signs winger Freddy Vargas on loan
Despite his young age, Vargas has played in 78 matches (51 starts) for Deportivo Lara, while participating in two Copa Libertadores games, and one Copa SudAmeircana game. Vargas has also been an integral part of a club that has reached the Venezuela league final twice.
