MLS season start moved to April 17

Schedule pushed back two weeks

While the Philadelphia Union will begin their season in Champions League in early April, the regular season has been pushed back two weeks.

Major League Soccer announced Wednesday that the season will kick off April 17.

A new date for preseason opening hasn’t been announced though the Union. It was originally scheduled to open on February 22.
